PLAYBOY HAS CROWNED A NEW PLAYMATE OF THE YEAR
O Canada! Playboy’s 2008 Playmate of the Year is dark-haired Ontario native Jayde Nicole. She was presented to the public, and the media, at the annual Playmate of the Year luncheon at the Mansion in early May, when 2007 Playmate of the Year, Oregon native Sara Jean Underwood, passed the torch over to Jayde at the annual ceremony. Former Playmates and Jayde’s family joined her at the announcement, which was featured in an hour long special on Playboy TV. Jayde donned a custom-made dress by the design duo Heatherette. She was also presented with a $100,000 check, a bronze plaque of her 2008 June issue, and a brand new Cadillac CTS.
Jayde is one of only four Ontario-born Playmates in Playboy history and is the first Canadian Playmate of the Year since Shannon Tweed in 1982.
